Story
On the 6th of may 2018 a beautiful angel by the name of Savannah Mackenzie Relf was born into this world sleeping.
The Bears of hope charity was one of many that provided a massive amount of support to Russell and Catherine in an extremely difficult time that no one should ever have to endure.
In an effort to help support this wonderful charity that does so much for others. I will be putting my beard on the line to raise as much money as I can for them so they can continue the wonderful work they do. If I can get to my fundraising goal I will be going clean shaven for the first time in just shy of 7 years.
Each day in Australia, 6 babies are stillborn, 2 babies die before their 1st birthday and a miscarriage occurs every 3.5 minutes. Tens of thousands of dads and their families are affected each year. Bears Of Hope provides support to families from the very beginning of their loss and beyond, through their extensive and much needed services.
I welcome any contribution, great or small, to help make a positive difference to the Dads and their families who experience the devastating loss of their baby. Thanks so much for your support!

Bears Of Hope Pregnancy & Infant Loss Support is an Australian not-for-profit organisation, providing leading support and exceptional care for families who experience the loss of their baby.
We provide exclusive and invaluable support programs that include a credible foundation of parent led and psychologist facilitated support groups, private online peer to peer support communities, phone, face to face, online and email counselling and annual community events that remember individual baby’s and recognize their parents love. Bears Of Hope comfort, acknowledge, inform, empower, and guide families during their time of loss and beyond.
As a registered non-profit organisation we are dedicated to the care of others and reinvesting our finances and resources to ensure the mental health needs and wellbeing of parents are being met and embraced for as long as as required.
