Story
From 1st June to 31st August, I will be getting my beard on (or at least attempting to!) and raising money for Bear(d)s Of Hope Pregnancy & Infant Loss Support.
This charity is very dear to my heart as Bears of Hope were there, when they were needed most, for my beautiful friends Anthony & Jaye and their precious son Ashton, who was born in July 2017 to loving parents although his stay here was only fleeting.
Bears of Hope were able to provide support and exceptional care for Anthony's family from the very beginning and beyond, through the charity's extensive and much needed services. If I can grow a beard and fundraise to help Bears of Hope continue their much needed work then this is one way I can support Anthony & Jaye in giving back and we can remember Ashton with a smile.
Unfortunately, each day in Australia, 6 babies are stillborn, 2 babies die before their 1st birthday and a miscarriage occurs every 3.5 minutes. Tens of thousands of dads and their families are affected each year. Please help me raise some funds and increase acknowledgement of infant loss and the need for support. I welcome any contribution, great or small... Thank you so much for your support!
